No is the short answer. A plate cannot be used to make a car look newer than it is. For example you could not put a 24 plate (AA24 ABC) on a car that is originally on a 60 plate (AA60 ABC). During checkout you will be told how old your car must be to display the reg. 

Yes of course! The registration will be reserved and on a V750 certificate valid for 10 years ready for you to assign to a vehicle. 

Yes sure! During checkout just put the name of the person you are gifting the registration to. 

Absolutely! You should be able to log in to your account or call Motability Customer Service - they can provide you with the V5C Reference Number or you can view it online.
If you are using our Ultra-Fast Transfer Service, we just need your current reg, and postcode along with the V5C Reference Number. 

When you purchase a registration, you are purchasing the certificate of Entitlement from the DVLA (V750)
During checkout you will be asked if you would like to add acrylic number plates - these are the actual plates you fit to your car. We also offer a transfer service so that you do not have to deal with the DVLA and we will arrange for the plate to be transferred to your car on a date that suits you.

Once you have your plates and once we have your V5 and your V750 certificate we can arrange your transfer. We can usually do this for the same or next day, or on a day that suits you. Transfers are processed around mid-day and you should have a confirmation email by 2pm confirming this has been approved and you can now swap your plates an update your insurance company of the change.
